Printing

Merrimack College has implemented a fee-based print management system for student printing.  Our hope is that with this new system, called GoPrint, the college will be able to provide better quality printing to students, while also cutting down on paper waste, and printing and toner costs.

How it will work

Students will be allotted a print quota of 750 free black and white print pages at the start of the academic year.  Every color page that a student chooses to print will be the equivalent of printing seven black and white pages.  Left over pages will not roll over to the following year.  Based on the amount of printing done last year, this amount of free printing meets the needs of a vast majority of students.  However, should the printing quota be exceeded, users will be charged $0.05 per page for black and white prints and $0.35 per page for color prints.
