Computer User accounts

All students (day or evening) who are enrolled in at least ONE course are automatically given a computer user account. This account is yours for as long as you are enrolled at Merrimack College. This account gives you access to the college’s network, including email, Blackboard and the myMACK system.         

Internet Access in the Dorms

All residence hall rooms have wired network jacks.  Wireless access is available in campus buildings and most outdoor areas.  Students should use the network (SSID) named MCStudent.  Help for connecting and the password is available at the Help Desk, on myMack>Technology>Information Technology>Handouts.  When possible, students should use a wired connection for enhanced speed and security. 

General Purpose Computer Lab

The ITC lab located on the 2nd floor of the McQuade Library is available for students anytime during regular hours of operation. The lab contains 36 windows computers, a color printer, a black/white printer and a scanner. 

Other Computer Labs

Many departments have course specific labs that are available for their students to use: Business Division, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Physics. These labs also have black/white printers.

Printing 

All student printing is controlled by GoPrint software.  Student’s receive 750 pages of free print per year.  Double sided printing saves paper but is equal to 2 pages of print.

Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sunday 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

*The hours of operation are modified during holidays, semester breaks, etc.
