Spiritual Development and Pastoral Care

SACRAMENTAL LIFE

Campus Ministry gathers with members of the Merrimack College community to celebrate various sacraments.  A special invitation is extended to those who are interested in becoming Catholic or completing their Sacraments of Initiation into the Catholic Church (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist).  The RCIA, Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is the process of preparation utilized at Merrimack College.  Others on campus who desire to deepen their faith commitment as Catholics are also welcomed to the RCIA sessions.

SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION (CONFESSION)

  • Scheduled seasonally and available at any time by making an appointment with an Augustinian Friar on campus.
  • Spiritual Direction is available for those who would like to explore more deeply their faith journey or who simply want to talk one-on-one with a Campus Minister.

WEEKLY (R.C.I.A.) SESSIONS

  • Prayerful reflection, study and discussion of central aspects of Catholicism with reception of Sacraments of Initiation after Easter within a campus Liturgy.  All are welcome!

SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION

The following Merrimack students celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation, Spring 2011:

  • Jesse Doiron
  • Ben Filteau
  • Danielle Jones

  • Alisha Wilkinson

Please join us and the entire Merrimack Community in supporting our students and their faith-filled journey.

SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE
