Health Education

At the Health Center a team, including a psychologist, counselor and health educator, provides psychological consultation, crisis intervention and health education.

Health education services provided by the Hamel Health Center include but are not limited to:

  • Individual consultation
  • Consultations and referral
  • Staff training
  • Health education for individuals and groups
  • Coordination of campus-wide drug prevention task force
  • Educational programming for faculty, staff and administration
  • Resource center for health education and prevention (stress, nutrition, alcohol and other drugs, AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases, violence prevention, depression and suicide)
