Austin Scholars Community

Are you interested in living in a community with like minded individuals? Do you want your neighbors to be students that are also academically focused and interested in becoming involved on campus? Do you want to participate in different community service opportunities, and have a very strong base to bet involved on campus? Here’s how:

As an Austin Scholar, you will have the opportunity to live and learn with your peers. As a group you will be taking Christianity in Context, a course required for all freshmen which fulfills your institutional requirement, together as a community. Studying and group work will never be this easy! In addition, you will participate in fun programming opporunities as well as a service trip off campus.

Wellness Housing

Are you interested in living a healthy lifestyle? Would you like participate in events that are designed around your mind, body and spirit?

As a resident of the Health and Wellness floor, you will have the opportunity to live and learn with like-minded individuals. As a member of this floor, you will have the ability to participate in an active lifestyle along with ways to improve on balancing academics and your social life. Students who are interested in living a healthy lifestyle and participating in events that are designed around your mind, body, and spirit are encouraged to apply.

Global Community

Students who are interested in living in the global community will live with students from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and experiences. Students who are interested in learning more about other cultures through engaging conversations are encouraged to apply to be part of this community. This will be a great opportunity to meet other students who share an interest in studying abroad, discussing world events, and learning about different cultures.
