The Center for Biotechnology and Biomedical Sciences presents Bio to Business Seminar Series 2012-2013. The third speaker in this series is Dr. Lydia Villa-Kamaroff, Chief Scientific Officer at CytonomeST.
Scientific leaders from regional businesses will relate stories of how a scientific discovery or technological innovation was transformed into a business opportunity.
Dr. Lydia Villa-Kamaroff wrote the scientific paper that launched the biotech industry – she used recombinant DNA technology to produce human insulin in bacteria.
