“Gruesome Playground Injuries” by Dept. of Visual & Performing Arts

7:00pm EDT February 15, 2013 EST
Cushing Hall, Stevens Auditorium
A dark comedy by Rajiv Joseph, the author of “Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo,” “Gruesome Playground Injuiries” explores the cost of wounded friendships.  Over the course of 30 years, the lives of Doug and Kayleen intersect at the most bizarre intervals, leading the two childhood friends to compare scars and the physical calamities that keep drawing them together.

Layered with “humor and intensity” this play is “a crash course in growing up, getting hurt, and the healing power of love.”  - Gwendolyn Purdom of the “Washingtonian.”

Tickets $5 general admission.  Limited seating.
