A Simply Stated ProblemDemonstrating Good Mathematics and Some Interrelationsbetween Mathematics and Computer Science presented by Dan Hughes, PhD (’63).

Dr. Dan Hughes received his BA in mathematics from Merrimack College in 1963 as a member of the school’s first class of math majors. He earned his PhD in mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis and taught mathematics and computer science at Gonzaga University in Seattle, Washington until his recent retirement. During his talk he will share some artifacts from the original math club which was known at the time as the Epsilon Delta Society.
