From Cairo to Qatar, Oman and Beyond: Jewish-Muslim Dialogue in the US and Internationally

In this talk Rabbi Visotzky considers major moments in his personal experiences in Jewish-Muslim dialogue over the past decade (and more). He will consider engagements on the local, national, and especially international levels. 

Rabbi Visotzky is the Appleman Professor of Midrash and Interreligious Studies at the Jewish Theological Seminary. He also serves as the Louis Stein Director of the Finkelstein Institute for Religious and Social Studies at JTS, and Director of the Milstein Center for Interreligious Dialogue at JTS. 

The winner of the 2014 Goldziher Prize will be announced.

The lecture is free and open to the public.
