“A Tribute to Benny Goodman” presented by A Moment in Time

Featuring the Capitol Center Jazz Orchestra and Special Guest Ken Peplowski

On January 16, 1938 the world of jazz and swing changed forever when famed clarinetist Benny Goodman took the stage at sold-out Carnegie Hall in what has been billed the world’s most famous jazz concert.  Now, 74 years later, The Capital Center Jazz Orchestra, Clayton Poole, music director, and clarinet virtuoso Ken Peplowski, an actual alumnus of the Benn Goodman Orchestra, will salute this pivotal concert in music history.

Ken Peplowski is regarded as one of the premier clarinetists in the world of jazz.
