ThinkFest! A STEM Festival

10:00am - 3:00pm EDT October 27, 2012
Sakowich Campus Center; Rogers Center; Cascia Hall
Enjoy more than 20 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) hands-on activities for middle school students.  Collaborating with the Museum of Science for activities and the iRobot representatives, as well as the Boston Chapter of Civil Engineers.
All are welcome.  This event is free. 
Also, view the world’s largest periodic table of elements in the field across from O’Brien Hall…118 squares that are 12’x14’ in size.  

Events:

10 a.m.  - 3 p.m.  in the MPR/Sakowich Campus Center

Hands-on science experiments including: The Estimator; Card Towers; Can Towers; Water Quality Test; Pop Fly Catapults; Model Bridge Building; CD Cars; Dance Pad Mania; iRobot Demo; Dam Building; and more

10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 2:00 p.m. in Cascia Hall
