Bullock Lecture now on YouTube
In this age of religious pluralism, there is a tension between leading religious communities and nurturing interfaith relations. Religious leaders tend the borders of their communities even while our times call for crossing these borders, building bridges to embrace the religiously “other,” not as alien but as spiritual companion.
What strength of mind, heart and character do the women and men who lead our religious communities need to cross those bridges even while cultivating healthy borders? The answer lies in considering again, nine years after his death, what the distinguished pastor and interfaith leader, Father Robert Bullock, embodied in his life and work.
If you missed the 9th Annual Bullock Memorial Lecture on October 2nd, you can now watch it on YouTube: “Religious Leadership and Interfaith Relations: Robert Bullock, A Case Study” with Prof. Padraic O’Hare.
