Abdelkader Essay Contest for Students

Announcing the 6th annual Abdelkader Global Leadership Prize essay contest. Open to students at U.S. high schools and colleges, including exchange students, this contest promotes student learning through historical narrative. Offered by the Abdelkader Education Project.

Why participate? Broaden global perspectives by learning about the Middle East and Islamic culture through the legacy of Emir Abdelkader (1808-1883). Connect cultures across centuries to promote cultural literacy, civility, tolerance, and understanding while exploring models of ethical leadership, moral courage and humanitarian conduct.
