On March 5th we welcomed Rabbi Burton Visotzky of the Jewish Theological Seminary in NYC. As our 2012 winner of the Goldziher Prize for Jewish-Muslim Relations, he returned to present a lecture entitled “From Cairo to Qatar, Oman and Beyond: Jewish-Muslim Dialogue in the U.S. and Internationally.”
Rabbi Visotzky opened his remarks by saying how Merrimack was coming to feel like home, and then advised our students to appreciate how “Merrimack stands out as a beacon among schools in this country in leading the way for interfaith dialogue.”
