Second Annual Executive Development II Event

Event immerses students in professional development and career preparation

Executive Development II is an annual career event hosted by the Girard School of Business for the graduate students in the Master of Science in Management Program. For this event, the Girard School of Business invites a number of Merrimack alums and area professionals to help its graduate students practice interviewing and networking skills. First, the professionals conduct mock interviews with the graduate students and give them feedback on their performance. Then the students practice their elevator speeches in a speed networking exercise. The evening ends with a reception at the Merrimack Club, where students have the opportunity to network with professionals in a more casual setting.

The event has been designed to immerse students in preparation for successful leadership positions in business. One of the program’s key components is career and professional development. This year’s professionals attending the event were:
