Health Science Research Accepted for the International Calgary Running Symposium
Congratulations to Merrimack College Adjunct Faculty Andy Cannon, Associate Professor Kevin Finn and recent Merrimack College Graduate Brett Medeiros!
Andy, Kevin, and Brett recently had an abstract accepted for presentation at the International Running Symposium held in Calgary, Canada this summer titled “The relationship between gait biomechanics, selected lower extremity strength, static lower extremity measures and injury history in division II collegiate middle to long distance runners”. Andy, Principal Investigator, will be presenting this poster at the symposium.
Andy and Kevin would like to thank the coaching staff and team members of Merrimack Track and Field for their participation and ongoing support. They also would like to acknowledge the following Health Sciences students for their participation and assistance in the study so far:
