Dr. Kyle McInnis, Assistant Dean and Chair of Health Sciences, was an invited speaker at the National Health Promotion Summit in Washington D.C. to present cutting-edge research to promote physical activity in under-served youth through the use of innovative technology embedded into a science curriculum called “Active Science”. At the Summit, he had the honor to meet the 18th Surgeon General of the United States, Vice Admiral Regina Benjamin (pictured here).
