The O’Brien Center for Student Success will sponsor its annual Spring Career Fair on Wednesday, March 25 from 2 pm to 5 pm in the Multi Purpose Room (MPR) in the Sakowich Campus Center.

BAE Systems, CDM Smith, Lawrence Public School, The Advocator Group, Nexcelom Bioscience, Staples, Inc., EMARC, and New York Life are just a few of the more than 90 organizations who will be on campus to recruit students for full-time, part-time, and internship positions in a wide range of career fields. Over 40 students received offers for internships, co-ops and full-time employment as a result of attending one of Merrimack’s Career Fairs last year.

After attending a previous fair a representative from Concentric Energy Advisors commented “I was very impressed with the students I spoke with. They were professional, personable and well prepared to “work” a career fair.”

The O’Brien Center for Student Success hosts career fairs, on and off campus interviews, and employer events throughout the year.  Students interested in learning more about upcoming employer events can do so by visiting Advantage at merrimack-csm.symplicity.com/students.

The Spring Career Fair is open to all majors and class years. Attendees should be professionally dressed and have plenty of resumes. For more information on the employers attending this year’s fair you can visit the Spring Career Fair event page.

Students can also make an appointment with their Career Advisor or come in during Career Lab for assistance in preparing for the Career Fair. Career Lab is held in the O’Brien Center on the 2nd Floor of the Sakowich Campus Center and is open every week Monday 12pm-7pm, Tuesday-Thursday 12pm-4pm and Friday 10am-12pm.

Any questions related to the Spring Career Fair can be directed to the O’Brien Center at 978-837-5480 or careerservices@merrimack.edu.
