Matt Kirkham ‘13, is engaged in mathematical research this summer at Virginia Tech. He is using mathematics to model gene regulatory functions, which eventually lead to genetic mutations and contribute to natural selection. Matt is pictured here next to a presentation of what he’s been working on thus far.
