Paul E. Murray Fellows Present at Murray Symposium
The Paul E. Murray Fund has generously enriched our science and engineering education at Merrimack College since the 1980s. Murray Programs have ranged from satellite broadcasts, which have delivered the most relevant electrical engineering discussions to the Merrimack campus, to video telecasts, which have delivered educational programming right to the students’ residence rooms and enhanced our library resources.
The Paul E. Murray Fellowship in the amount of $10,000 will be awarded annually to a member of the Faculty of Science and Engineering beginning in 2001-2002. (The award amount will be determined by the earnings of the Murray endowment fund on an annual basis.) Selection of the Fellow will be made during the preceding academic year. The Paul E. Murray Fellow is a competitively selected faculty member. Winning the Murray Fellowship is an honor and a privilege and the awardee will present at the Symposium the following fall.
This year, the Paul E. Murray Fellows are Dr. Zi Yan, Dr. Michael Corcoran, and Dr. Kevin Finn all from the department of Health Sciences at Merrimack College. Please join us for the Murray Symposium on December 1, 2015 from 3:00PM-5:00PM in Murray Lounge in the Sakowich student center. They will present their talk titled, “Promoting Physical Activity and Wellness Among Individuals with Disabilities”.
