Merrimack launches website in time for new academic year

August 30 marks the culmination of a year and a half long collective effort to launch the entirely updated Merrimack.edu website.

The new website has been created to give visitors a more user-friendly experience, to improve functionality and provide external audiences with new and dynamic content. The collaborative effort made by the Merrimack community has resulted in thousands of web pages being completely revamped.

Partnering with White Whale Web Services, Merrimack completed the web design in two phases. Phase one launched on January 17, 2012 and consisted of improving the core structure of the website and launching the new content management system. Phase-two focused on working with the entire Merrimack community to create more dynamic content throughout the entire site. Features of the updated website include: a new content management system, a better search engine, a more dynamic homepage as well as revitalized content.

Phase two also focused on bringing important information about the College to the forefront of the site for prospective students, which gives them a high level overview of information useful in their college search.

Thank you to all who helped with the success of the launch of the new site. Enjoy the brand new Merrimack.edu!
