Students prepare for Career Fair through on-campus networking events
In partnership with the O’Brien Center for Career Development, the Girard School of Business held its first networking events of the academic year. These events are designed to connect students in specific concentrations with professionals working in those fields. They serve as great preparation for students in advance of upcoming Career Fairs, employer visits and job interviews. The professionals spend time describing their backgrounds and personal career paths, they offer advice and answer questions about their industry and the companies where they work. Students are able to move around the room several times during the two-hour event in order to maximize the number of professionals they meet and network with.
