Dr. Ann McKee visits Merrimack College Health Sciences for Inaugural Distinguished Speaker Series
Last month, the Merrimack College Health Sciences Department was fortunate to welcome Dr. Ann McKee to campus for our Inaugural Distinguished Speaker Series. Dr. Ann McKee is currently the Professor of Neurology & Pathology, Director, Neuropathology Core at Boston University. She is also one of the top researchers Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), which has grown very popular in recent years.
Hundreds of students, faculty and staff gathered for the tremendous presentation at the Rogers Center on campus to listen to Dr. McKee speak about her past and current experience in the field. She also shared her astounding breakthrough scientific research that has stirred up much controversy in the medical field and the National Football League alike.
The Department of Health Sciences holds a Distinguished Speaker Series speaker each semester where leaders in the field present on their role in the industry.
