Service trips promote Augustinian values

October 01, 2012
Campus ministry is sponsoring service trips for winter and spring breaks as well as during the summer.  Faculty and staff are encouraged to serve as advisors.

Campus Ministry is once again sponsoring weeklong service experiences that allow students to become immersed in a different culture, to interact with new students, and reflect on our Catholic, Augustinian perspective on the importance of service.  Moving forward, it is crucial for college students of this generation to have these diverse experiences to integrate into their lives after Merrimack College.

This year, there will be multiple Alternative Winter and Spring Break Trips and one summer trip to Rostro De Cristo, Ecuador. Each are weeklong experiences.  Faculty and staff are encouraged to serve as advisors for these trips, which provide the opportunity to interact with students outside of the campus.

Trip dates:

Alternative Winter Break 2013: January 5-12

Alternative Spring Break 2013: March 21-28

Ecuador Summer Trip 2013: June 4-11
