Rogers Center Nominated as Best Arts, Theater Venue

March 06, 2018
Merrimack College’s Rogers Center for the Arts has been nominated as the region’s best venue for performing arts in Merrimack Valley Magazine’s annual awards contest.

“It’s an honor to be nominated and recognized as a performing arts venue that the residents of the Merrimack Valley enjoy,” said Father Richard Piatt, O.S.A., director of the Rogers Center.

The Rogers Center comprises a theater-style auditorium with a seating capacity of 600 and two arts galleries. It hosts live musical performances, theater and dance productions, film series and eclectic art exhibitions.

The center is one of six theater and arts venues vying for top honors in Merrimack Valley Magazine’s poll. Voting runs online through midnight April 20 at www.mvmag.net/mvma.

“Vote, vote, vote!” Father Piatt urged.
