Merrimack College Department of Police Services Officers Receive Awards

Nine Merrimack College Department of Police Services officers awarded for Heroic Actions.

The Merrimack College Department of Police Services is pleased to announce that the following officers will be receiving an award at the 25th Annual Massachusetts Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators Awards Ceremony on December 19, 2012 for Heroic Actions:

    On May 5, 2011, Merrimack College Department of Police Services was the 37th police department and the 5th campus police department in Massachusetts to receive state accreditation from the Massachusetts Police Accreditation Commission (MPAC).
  • Merrimack College Department of Police Services is Awarded Certification Status
    Merrimack College Department of Police Services has successfully passed a two day, stringent assessment of our systems and functions with a view to achieving Certification with the Massachusetts Police Accreditation Commission. The assessment team will recommend we recieve Certification in May of 2010.We will be one of only three college Police Departments in Massachusetts to attain this level of professionalism, and one of only thirteen Police Departments in the Commonwealth to do so.
