Major milestones reached this week at the ice rink!

Progress is being made in many areas of the Volpe Expansion Project.
Milestones are also being hit at the new ice rink. The rubber roof system was installed over the rink area this week as sprinkler pipe, ductwork, and roof drains were being attached to the underside. Exterior sheathing is going up outside the rink as concrete block walls and pipes for the refrigeration system were installed inside. The foundation for the sports medicine and strength training facility was finished this week which includes a pit for two hydrotherapy pools. This will allow the steel structure to be erected in that area after the New Year.
