Environmental Ethics and the Blue, Gold and Green Festival

Students from Environmental Ethics presented at the poster sessions for the Annual Blue, Gold and Green Sustainability Festival April 11 and 12, 2011.Students also designed recycling brochures and organized a campus-wide cleanup.
Merrimack College students have recently been involved in an Environmental Protection Agency grant, obtained by a collaborative effort between the College, the Town of North Reading, the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Martins Pond Association.
About four dozen Merrimack students, faculty and staff celebrate the annual Hindu Festival of Holi, aka the Festival of Colors, during which colored powder is playfully tossed at one another and celebrants dance and feast. The festival celebrates the coming of spring and all of its vibrant colors.
