McQuade Book Group
For our first book this fall, the McQuade book group will be reading Breakfast with Buddha by this year’s convocation speaker Roland Merullo.
The Boston Globe recommended it and said:
“Enlightenment meets On the Road in this witty, insightful novel.”
Check with the Help Desk to borrow or download a copy, and meet the group at the large table by the fireplace at 12:30 on Tues Sept 24. No advance notice is required! Light refreshments will be served.
The McQuade book group is an informal group of students, staff, and faculty which meets monthly during the semester. Book selection is by suggestion of the members–what would you like to read next?
ContactContact the Help Desk at firstname.lastname@example.org or x5215 for more information.
Throwback Thursday brings you seven of McQuade Library’s student workers who recently graduate. You can read about each of their future plans and their experiences working at McQuade Library in the library’s newsletter, the McQuade Messenger.
