McQuade Book Group
For our first book this fall, the McQuade book group will be reading Breakfast with Buddha by this year’s convocation speaker Roland Merullo.
The Boston Globe recommended it and said:
“Enlightenment meets On the Road in this witty, insightful novel.”
Check with the Help Desk to borrow or download a copy, and meet the group at the large table by the fireplace at 12:30 on Tues Sept 24. No advance notice is required! Light refreshments will be served.
The McQuade book group is an informal group of students, staff, and faculty which meets monthly during the semester. Book selection is by suggestion of the members–what would you like to read next?

McQuade Library staff showed off their creative side transforming what would normally be a horizontal row of books into a stylized stack resembling a Christmas tree.
Kevin Salemme, Director of Media Services, captured a group study session in progress in one of the many study bays in the McQuade Library. This photo perfectly captures how our students dig-in at the end of a semester. Good luck everyone!
