Alanna is the Area Coordinator of Deegan Hall and Ash Centre, which house first year students. Her primary responsibilities include leading the hall team, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, managing the daily operations of the building and helping students find the resources that they need to be successful. Alanna enjoys working in residence life because she enjoys working with and helping students. In her spare time, Alanna enjoys baking, daydreaming about the perfect westie and spending time with family and friends.
Prior to working at Merrimack College, Alanna was a Residence Director at Northeastern University working with first year STEM students and second year students. Alanna earned her Master’s of Education at the University of Massachusetts Lowell while working as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Residential Life as a First Year Resident Educator, as well as an Assistant Complex Director.
Alanna is a member of NASPA and NEACUHO and enjoys presenting at conferences with those organizations as much as possible.
