Research Summary

I am a Boston-based designer, artist and educator. My multidisciplinary design work has been recognized by the AIGA, the One Club and the Interactive Media Council, among others. My past clients include Volkswagen, Harvard University, Colby College, Duke University, Northeastern University, the New England Conservatory, Educators for Social Responsibility, the Fenway Alliance and Shepley Bulfinch. I began teaching in 2009 as a visiting lecturer in MassArt’s continuing education program and was promoted to a full-time assistant professor in 2016. In 2017, I began teaching graphic design as a tenure-track assistant professor in the visual and performining arts department at Merrimack College. My interdisciplinary thesis work and ongoing research interests center upon learning experience design — the exploration of speculative multimodal interactive learning techniques in the context of assistive, peer and creative learning.
