Julia St. Goar

Assistant Professor


Julia St. Goar’s previous teaching experience includes acting as sole instructor for Mathematics Matters, a course for pre-service elementary school teachers, and business calculus, as well as teaching and acting as associate convener over numerous sections of college algebra and trigonometry. She assisted with University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s revamp of college algebra course by helping to write common lesson plans to involve active learning and group work. Over several summers, she assisted with the NebraskaMath program for in-service K-12 teachers.

St. Goar’s research interests are discrete fractal calculus and mathematics education research.
