Office of Residence Life
David is the Director of Residence Life. He enjoys working in Residence Life because it gives him the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of students, faculty, and staff all working towards the same goal - to provide housing in which engaging, supportive, and safe communities develop. It also gives him the opportunity to impact students’ lives while learning, growing, and having fun. In his spare time, David enjoys traveling, cooking, watching movies, TV, spending time with loved ones, and concerts (especially Jimmy Buffett).
David has worked in student affairs administration since 2007. Prior to working at Merrimack, he was the Assistant Director for Community Standards at Mount Ida College. Before Mount Ida, he served as a Residence Director at Stonehill College.
Beyond his official positions, David has served in a variety of positions with professional development organizations. He held the positions of Treasurer and Newsletter editor for the Boston Area College Housing Association. David also served as the Treasurer, Corporate Sponsor Chair, and Registration Chair on the NASPA Region I Conference Committee. He currently serves as the Conference Chair for the NASPA Region I annual conference.
