Andrea Cohen is director of the Writers House. Her poems and stories have appeared in The New Yorker, Poetry, The Atlantic, The Threepenny Review, Glimmer Train, The Hudson Review, The New Republic and elsewhere. Her poetry collections include “Furs Not Mine,” “Kentucky Derby,” “Long Division” and “The Cartographer’s Vacation.” Cohen received a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Iowa, where she was a teaching-writing fellow. She teaches creative writing in Merrimack’s English department and directs the Blacksmith House Poetry Series, in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
