Robyn Soo Hoo

Robyn Soo Hoo provides executive management and support to the provost. She oversees the daily operations of academic affairs and facilitates the provost’s executive-level responsibilities, including budget, meetings, schedule, briefings, events and commitments.
Robyn works with the executive assistant, vice provosts and provost in managing the official communication of the provost’s office with faculty, students, staff and senior leaders.
Prior to joining Merrimack College, Robyn was staff assistant to the dean of the School of Graduate Studies at Salem State University. In that role, she assisted in the development of the budget and monitoring monthly transactions; processed the hiring paperwork for graduate adjunct faculty, graduate program coordinators and various other hires for the department; and oversaw the publication of curriculum and policy changes for the online catalog, website and student plans of study.
Robyn holds an associate degree in fashion merchandising from Bay State Junior College and worked in retail and retail banking before making the transition to higher education. She lives in Salem, Massachusetts, and enjoys spending time with her husband, friends and family.
