As a key member of Merrimack’s senior leadership group, Mark Gould provides intellectual leadership to the executive team in support of the graduate and professional studies programs at the college.
Gould is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic recruitment and admission plan to increase Merrimack’s presence and visibility in the graduate space. He works closely with department chairs and academic deans to build collaborative teams while effectively representing the college’s mission and interests related to the growth of graduate and professional studies programs.
Prior to joining Merrimack College, Gould was associate dean of academic and faculty affairs for the College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University. In this role, he provided academic leadership for graduate and professional-development programs offered by the college.
Gould also led the development of curriculum initiatives across program areas and partnered with other deans from schools and colleges within Northeastern to offer their programs to a national and international audience.
Gould is a graduate of the University of Maine and holds a Master of Education from Boston University, Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University and Doctor of Education from Northeastern University.
