Professional Experience

Dr. Herda’s areas are race and ethnic relations, quantitative methods, immigration, and social psychology. His articles have appeared in a variety of scholarly journals, including Social ForcesPublic Opinion QuarterlySociological Perspectives, and Social Science Research. In the spring of 2017, Dr. Herda brought 12 Merrimack students to Germany as part of his embedded study abroad course “Crossing Borders” (click here to watch the video).
