Center for the Study of Jewish-Christian-Muslim Relations
Deb is thrilled to have a vocation that is fulfilling, interesting, and impactful. A magna cum laude graduate in art history from Boston College, she has varied, creative, and successful work history in business, the arts, and higher education. She thinks landing at Merrimack College in 2003 and working in interfaith relations with students, community members, and global leaders is a true blessing.
Her commitment to diversity education and understanding extends to her volunteer activities as well. On campus Deb is a member of the SafeZone Committee to support the local LGBTQ+ community through education and awareness. Off campus Deb is a proud PFLAG mom and co-facilitator of the local PFLAG support group for parents of transgender and gender non-conforming kids, and occasionally speaks on LGBTQ+ issues at workshops and conferences. She is also on the board of her congregation, Havurat Shalom of Andover, and on the board of Welcoming Faiths of the Merrimack Valley.
Deb is a member of the Merrimack Valley chapter of the Daughters of Abraham women’s interfaith book group, committed to building relationships and respect among the three Abrahamic religions, and if she could clone herself she would join the Sisterhood of Salaam-Shalom as well.
