O’Brien Center for Career Development
Courtney Luongo joined Merrimack College in 2012 as the assistant vice president of development. In 2016, she transitioned into the role of executive director for the O’Brien Center for Career Development.
Her work with the O’Brien Center is focused on creating an intersection between the student experience and corporate engagement, whereby students follow their passions through enhanced career advising and access to quality hands-on experiential learning and full-time employment.
During her time at Merrimack, Luongo has launched the College Leadership Council; overseen the creation of the Stewardship Program and The Warrior Fund; and supervised The Merrimack Fund and advancement services teams.
She has worked in higher education since 2001, including positions at Duke University and Boston College.
