As Program Manager, Lisa serves as an advisor to the various student groups including Honors Student Council, Honors Ambassadors, Honors Journalists, Honors Staff Assistants, Honors Mentors and Honors Social Media Coordinators. Lisa overseas advisement and works closely with Residential Life in coordinating the Honors Living Learning Community. She manages the daily operations of the Honors Commons and facilitates budgeting, purchasing and strategy with the Director. Lisa coordinates initiatives promoting engagement of the Honors Program alumni and is also a First Year Experience instructor. She is interested in student leadership and international study and participated in faculty-led short term study abroad trips with Merrimack to Spain, Morocco, London, Italy and the Dominican Republic.
Lisa earned her B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Assumption College, which included study abroad at University of Bath, England, M.B.A. specializing in International Marketing from Assumption College, M.Ed. specializing in Student Affairs from Merrimack College and she is currently pursuing her Ed.D. from Northeastern University. Much of her research was used to design and develop an Honors International Service Immersion Experience.
Prior to joining the Honors Program staff, Lisa spent twelve years working in international marketing and sales for high technology companies in the Boston area. Outside of Merrimack, Lisa spends her time and energy with her husband and five children. She is passionate about giving back and philanthropy and is a Founding Director of Impact 100 Boston. Lisa is currently entering her seventh year with the Honors Program.
