MY PERSONAL INTERESTS

Even professors can occasionally have hobbies. Mine include:

• Playing clarinet with the Chelmsford Community Band
  In the past I have been a member of the following groups:
  • Pit Orchestra for the Merrimack College OnStagers' productions (2011, 2012)
  • The Southeastern Massachusetts Wind Symphony
  • The Lowell Summer Band
  • The Williams Symphonic Winds
  • The Williams College Mucho Macho Moocow Marching Band
  • The Lowell Preparatory Division Wind Ensemble
  • The Westford Academy Marching, Jazz, and Concert Bands
    
    
• Science Fiction
  I watch it, read it, and write it. I am a Trekkie. I have played a game of Star Wars Trivial Pursuit where I only got one wrong answer. I am a nerd.
  
  
• Playing computer games
  I am a huge fan of:
  • Anything in the MYST series, Riven perhaps being my favorite
  • Civilization IV (PC) and Civilization: Revolution (PS3)
  • Pretty much any Lego game for the PS2/PS3, with my favorite being Star Wars Legos II
  • Tower defense games
    
    
• Horseback riding
  I am not currently riding, but I do dream of the day I can get back into some regular saddle time.
  
  
• Pets
  I have in the past been owned by several wonderful critters. I have volunteered with the House Rabbit Society and have counted the rabbits Sweetie, Eve, and Ben among my furbabies. They and our beloved tuxedo cat Malory are now fondly remembered and missed. We currently have two beautiful cats, Topaz and Pearl, adopted from Pets in Need.
