Wires, pipes and drywall
At the Student Residences Project this week, the rough-in process was completed and Building 1B was given the green light to have walls insulated and drywall hung, a major milestone for the construction team. Building 1C continues being roughed in with electrical wires and sprinkler pipe but is not far behind for drywall to begin. At Building 2, roofers and window installers continued their work outside while the sprinkler contractor installed pipe inside. The exciting part of this week was getting the underground plumbing installed in the final building which will have its slab placed next week. This will give the framers a place to go once they are finished at Buildings 2 and 1C.
