The new rink is really starting to come together!
At the Volpe Expansion Project this week, painters finished their work on the rink ceiling and slab was placed for the mezzanine deck. At the new front lobby area, rough plumbing for the bathroom and concession is ready for inspection and most of the sprinkler pipe has been installed. The framers and masons worked hard in the new Sports Medicine area this week to get all the walls up for this new space. Two more view boxes were cut into the existing rink and the area was cleaned up for the game against UMass Amherst on Friday.
