Maria Russo joined The O’Brien Center for Student Success in August 2012 as a Marketing and Communications Intern. While holding this position she will be responsible for posting to all of our channels of social media daily, as well as planning, executing, and attending multiple O’Brien Center events. Maria is passionate about event planning as well as developing an awareness among her fellow students about the O’Brien Center and all that it has to offer.

Maria is currently a junior at Merrimack College Majoring in Marketing with a minor in Communications. While taking courses at Merrimack and Interning at The O’Brien Center, Maria is also the vice president of Merrimack’s collegiate chapter of the American marketing Association (AMA) and a chair on the Student Government Association board. Before interning for the O’Brien center Maria was the Global Marketing intern for an IT Company called Ipswitch, Inc. located in Lexington Massachusetts. While in this position she learned quality skills in contributing to various marketing projects and preparing for numerous tradeshows.
