Advantage is the online resource students and employers use to for all recruiting. It holds the most up-to-date information on employer’s opportunities, resume collection, and campus interviewing. You may view Campus Recruiting opportunities on Advantage under the “Campus Interviews” menu. (Tip: Want to know when new campus interviews or resume drops are added? Set up an email notification in Advantage. See the Advantage Student Guide for these instructions and more.)
Cover letters help candidates get the interviews, not the job. It is one’s opportunity to toot their horn and let employers know what you have to offer and how you will benefit them and their organization in helping them meet their goals.
Resumes are descriptive lists of your experiences and ccomplishments. They provide a microscopic view of what applicants’ capabilities and skills are. There are no resumes that are the same. As the applicant, it is your responsibility to set yourself apart from others, as you are competing with more than just your peers.
Job Boards are just one way to search for jobs. Some of them allow posting your resume. Here are a few to assist you in your search.
