The  Center  for  Public Opinion  Research  at Merrimack College is directed by Dr. Russell Mayer.  Dr.  Mayer  received  his  Ph.D.  from
the University of Michigan and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science.  His areas of teaching and research  include Campaigns and Elections, Polling and Public Opinion, and Political Methodology.

The Center's interview staff is composed primarily of Merrimack College undergraduate students, as well as individuals from the local community.  Interviewers receive extensive training and are closely supervised in order to insure both that the highest quality and standards are maintained in the data collection process and that the Center's mission of undergraduate education is achieved.

The Center's Advisory Committee consists of Merrimack faculty, administrators, and students.  Current advisory committee members are:
