Unity House

Our Mission
The Unity House and its leadership team, the Unity House Task Force, seek to be active and engaged leaders in the continued enhancement of social inclusion at Merrimack College. We aim to increase understanding of diversity through education and involvement.

Our Vision

We will join the efforts of the institution in:

  • Ensuring a safe, secure and inclusive social climate welcoming to all identities and affinities,
  • Developing champions of advocacy within the students, faculty and staff.
  • Building a strong, active network of individuals and groups from currently underrepresented populations and their allies.

In doing so, we advance the greater Merrimack College core by building a community of scholars welcoming a diversity of backgrounds, experiences, beliefs, and perspectives.

Our Story

The Unity House development and implementation reflects the larger institutional trajectory of responding to the imperative of a community reflecting and celebrating multiculturalism.
