Position Overview: The School of Education & Social Policy at Merrimack College seeks adjunct instructors for the school counseling graduate program, specifically in the areas of culture and diversity in counseling (clinical) and advanced psychology of learning and assessment. The courses prepare school counselor candidates for initial licensure, and are closely aligned to the subject-matter knowledge (SMK) requirements for the applicable license. Adjunct opportunities are potentially available in summer, fall, and spring terms. Courses are taught hybrid or online with on-campus course work offered at our campus in North Andover.
Qualifications: Masters degree required, terminal degree preferred. Specific experience in assessment with youth required for Adv. Psychology course. The Culture and Diversity in Counseling course requires therapeutic experience, licensure and experience with diverse populations in counseling settings.
