Position Description: The Girard School of Business at Merrimack College is seeking adjunct instructors for the ACC4408 Auditing courses in the Spring 2020 semester.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in business or related area, Ph.D. preferred. College teaching experience preferred, although significant executive/senior level related work experience will be considered.

This undergraduate course is a 4-credit course.
One section is scheduled on T/R from 12-1:50pm and runs for the length of the spring semester. The spring semester starts on January 16, 2020 and runs through May 8, 2020 (which includes the last final exam day).
The other section is intensive, to be scheduled for several hours per day for 4 or 5 days per week. It runs from April 6 – May 8, 2020. The schedule will be determined in conjunction with the faculty member teaching the complementary intensive course. Specify the hours of the day and days of the week that you are available for this section.

This course provides a strong conceptual and practical approach to auditing. Emphasis is placed on auditing theory, supplemented with practice work papers and discussions with selected representatives of the accounting profession.
