Position Overview: The School of Health Sciences invites applications for part-time adjunct instructors to teach two undergraduate courses, Professional Development in Health Sciences and Anatomy and Physiology II, and two graduate courses, Introduction to Medical Imaging and Health Promotion Programs.

The two undergraduate courses are taken by Health Science, Exercise Science, Rehabilitation Science, Nutrition, and Public Health majors. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s Degree and at least two years’ experience teaching at the college level. The instructors should have the knowledge and skills to engage students in the many fields and topics related to the course.

The graduate Introduction to Medical Imaging course is for students in the Master of Science in Athletic Training program. The ideal candidate will be a Health Care Practitioner (Physician, Radiologist, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) with at least two years’ experience teaching at the college level. The instructor should have the knowledge and skills to engage students in diagnostic imaging techniques commonly utilized by the medical community including the basic scientific principals and key applications behind each modality.

The graduate Health Promotion Programs course is for students in the Master of Science in Community Health Education and Health and Wellness Management programs.The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate Degree and at least two years’ experience teaching at the graduate level. The instructors should have the knowledge and skills to engage students in the many fields and topics related to the course.

Undergraduate Courses
The Fall Semester 2018 will run from September 4 through December 19. Professional Development in Health Sciences meets Tuesdays from 2pm-3:50pm. Anatomy and Physiology II meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm-7:50pm.

Graduate Course
Introduction to Medical Imaging meets Mondays 6pm-9:50pm (8 weeks from October 25 through December 19). Health Promotion Programs meets Tuesdays 6pm-9:50pm (16 weeks from September 4 through December 19).
